Ever since I began my studies in microbiology, I have always been fascinated by how bacteria cope with stress. I obtained my Ph.D. in Didier Mazel’s laboratory at the Institut Pasteur, where I studied various bacterial responses, particularly to antibiotics, and a new mechanism of entry for aminoglycosides, which led to the discovery of a new treatment regimen. In the Le Roux lab, I’m studying the life cycle of a minimalist satellite (PICMI) to further my understanding of the adaptive and evolutionary responses of bacterial and phage communities. If I’m not in the lab, you’ll definitely find me outdoors running, hiking or biking. I love the peacefulness of nature, buying plants and cats.
